Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps

Life is always an adventure. So, why not go to Hair Adventure for a new do? That’s exactly what I did and as always, I’m thrilled with Betty’s skills in turning my normally drab and flat asian hair into flowing, shiny curls! HOW?! I won’t ask. Just work your miracles, my lovely Betty.

Before our sweaty hot yoga session, Hambone was keen to point out that perhaps I’m beautifying myself for a hot HOT new crush. Quizas… quizas… quizas!

And what does one do after the sweatiest, steamiest hot yoga session of all time? Why, of course we go home and make some banana bread! Not just any banana bread, this will be named “Big Bird’s Banana Bread” in honor of guailo’s favorite banana bread. Don’t you wish that you could enjoy this hot and moist banana-walnut bread with a cold glass of milk? The outside was a crusty/ toasty perfection, while the bread within was steaming with hot, moist golden raisins and crunchy crushed walnuts. Yes, let that perfectly tender morsel of banana bread entice you to take one bite after another of that light, yet satisfying freshly baked pastry.

On that note, let’s have a thought of the day!

Hambone brought up at dinner that doctor’s used to listen to patient’s heart beats by placing their ear against the patient’s chest. Well, that would certainly be some fun times for the predominantly male doctors and their female patients!

I sat there reflecting that yes, in my experience, I could hear a man’s heartbeat quite well with my ear right up against his chest. But, perhaps I have never tried to listen to a woman’s heart pressed up against her décolletage. Intriguing! At this juncture, guailo looked suggestively at hambone to encourage her to let me have a go at this method of cardiac examination. Quizas, quizas, quizas…

Luckily, (or not so lucky if you have some hot doctahs!) the stethoscope was invented so doctors no longer have to get so up-close and personal to hear those heart sounds.
